Work Visa (Engineer/Humanities/Int’l Services) Support in Aichi & Tokai | Tsukada Gyoseishoshi

🌐 Language / 语言: 日本語English中文Português

Do you need a work visa in Japan — or is your company hiring a foreign employee? The Tsukada Gyoseishoshi Office (a licensed immigration specialist) in Nagoya supports work-visa applications for both individuals and companies across Aichi, Gifu and Mie, from documents to submission at the Nagoya Immigration Bureau.

The main work status: “Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services”

Most office and engineering jobs use the Gijinkoku status. It is approved when the following match up:

  • Relevant background — A university degree (or equivalent) in a field related to the work, or sufficient work experience.
  • Job content — The duties must be professional work that fits the status (not simple manual labour).
  • The employer — A stable company, with a contract and salary equal to or above that of a Japanese employee in the same role.
  • Consistent documents — Documents from both the employee and the company that match each other.

Other statuses we handle include Specified Skilled Worker, Intra-company Transferee, Highly Skilled Professional, Business Manager and change/renewal of status.

For companies hiring foreign staff

When hiring from overseas we apply for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE); for someone already in Japan (e.g. a graduating student) we apply to change the status of residence. We also advise on the notifications required after hiring.
